Interactive Entertainment. It was created by Guerrilla Games and published by the company. The story revolves around Aloy, a teenage hunter living in a world overrun by robots who embarks on a journey to discover her family’s history and identity. Wikipedia

In this game, you play as a dinosaur-robot-futurist adventurer called Horizon Zero Dawn. This is the first DLC for the game. It comes with a lot of new things for you to do.
Our main guide for Horizo Zero Dawn: Frozen Wilds will be found here. We’ll also include a list of all the content in our Frozen Wilds walkthrough, as well as explain everything you need to know about the new features, skills, and other aspects of the new area.
You’re already in the correct spot for everything related to the Frozen Wilds DLC, but if you’re looking for additional information about Horizon Zero Dawn in general, it’s worth taking a look at our comprehensive Horizon Zero Dawn guide and walkthrough.

It’s as simple as loading up your game and continuing where you left off after it’s been downloaded and installed. The DLC simply makes the additional questline, as well as the accompanying locations and sidequests, available to you when you have purchased it.
To access the first quest, you must first complete some in-game criteria. These include the following tasks: A Seeker at the Gates is the main story quest that you must finish in order to get access to the world. It is recommended—but not needed—that you are about level 30 before embarking on this adventure. Then head over to the Daytower Fort (which is located almost exactly in the middle of the map) and speak with Ohtur, who is concerned about problems in the Banuk territories. You may just wander into the DLC area on your own, but it’s always great to have a small waypoint along the way.
In Into the Frozen Wilds, you’ll be given the task of simply “exploring The Cut,” which is the northernmost part of the map that has been accessible as a result of the DLC and looks a little like Scotland grafted on at the top of the map.

The Grave Hoard is quite a distance away, so be prepared to hike. When you arrive there, you’ll notice that a new climbing route has been established up the clifface, next to a kind of shining blue crystal. If you do that, you’ll be able to access the Frozen Wilds DLC!There’s a sense of nostalgia and joy that comes with the sound of crunching snow for me. Winters spent wrapped in scratchy scarves and inappropriate mittens slogging through Irish fields as white as the horizon and leaving that first welly-boot footprint in an untouched blanket of gleaming snow bring back childhood memories. With scenes straight out of a winter paradise, Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds successfully recreates the experience of being lost in a winter wonderland. Guerrilla Games’ PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Frozen Wilds, is an add-on that sees Aloy go north into The Cut, a harsh, frozen landscape inhabited by the nomadic Banuk Tribe. The Banuk Shamans believe that a demon is in control of and manipulating the machines, leading them to become considerably stronger and more ferocious than they were in past generations. Of course, the ever-helpful Aloy offers to look into the matter, and thus the branching storyline begins to take shape. With around 15 hours of gameplay, the Frozen Wilds plotline is a side story that runs concurrently with the main story line and is accessible quite early in the game, following completion of the “Enemy at the Gates” quest line. Even so, it’s recommended that you wait until you’re at least level 30 before you start your journey through the tundra. New machines can make things difficult at times.
Along with the new chilly zone comes a group of appropriately frosty people to keep an eye on things. There are a total of five new devices, including Daemonic Machines, fire-spewing Scorchers, and control towers, among other things.

Control Towers interact with adjacent machines, repairing and polishing them as needed, while simultaneously disabling your mount and any machinery you have overridden with your actions. Taking control of the control tower and making it inoperable will give you a better chance of taking down the overpowered adversaries in the game. Guerrilla Games, the game’s creator, has included new Banuk-inspired weaponry and armour to aid Aloy in taking down her new deadly adversaries, such as the electric-spurting Stormslinger, who can be devastating. This powerful new equipment can be purchased from special merchants with blue shine, a new sort of cash that can be earned through the game’s environment or by completing missions.
Speaking of quests, side quests now have more content and provide higher rewards than in the past. For example, one of them grants you the opportunity to change Aloy’s spear, which was previously unavailable to you. Tasks that were easy in the original game have now been made more difficult.

Take, for example, the Tall Neck assignment, in which the player formerly had to commandeer the monstrous machine with his or her agility. However, in the Frozen Wilds, Aloy must first rebuild a tall neck that has been destroyed and scavenged before she may override the machine and take control of the area. It’s a minor change of pace, but one that’s much appreciated nonetheless. The environment of Frozen Wilds is the game’s most compelling feature. The texture and design of the snow can be magnificent at times. Mountain goats, owls, squirrels, and badgers are among the new species of fauna that have taken up residence amid the area’s snow-capped mountains and frosted firs. Little nuances, such as how heavy snow flurries obscure your eyesight and the way Aloy gently makes her way through thick snow, her footsteps preserved in the white canvas and the oh-so-satisfying crunches of each boot hitting the frozen earth, demonstrate careful consideration.

The overwhelming beauty of this is due in part to the small adjustments that Guerrilla Games implemented as part of the DLC. Frozen Wilds boasts improved motion-capture and face animations, as well as more dynamic camera work and a more realistic snow environment. In addition, the ability to build snow angels in photo mode is a must-have feature. These changes are only for the DLC, not the main game. Some of these changes were clear, but others were not, especially in terms of how the game played.
