A Warzonetm Exclusive Briefing For All Of Our Players
The Call of Duty® community has received an update: “A WarzoneTM Exclusive Briefing for All of Our Players.”
To demonstrate our dedication to ensuring that the Warzone experience is as healthy and robust as possible, we are delighted to provide some more information on significant community-focused updates, current repairs, and the game’s long-term ambitions.
Call of Duty®: Vanguard and Warzone’s Season Two debuts will mark the beginning of the next phase in our continued commitment to enhance your gameplay experience.
This past week, we presented a slew of new material that will be released throughout the season. However, our main goal is to give the community a good and fun gaming experience, so all of this isn’t very important.
That comes with the process of upgrading and repairing what has previously been made available. Season Two, in addition to the fixes that were issued during the game’s delay and updates that will be published after its release, is geared towards accomplishing this goal.
We have a lot of exciting things planned for the rest of the year for the whole franchise, but right now, the team’s main goal is to improve the Warzone experience that we’re all having right now, address current issues, and answer a lot of important requests from our community.
Our current plans are as follows:
Our Top Priorities for the Battlefield
Our developers’ top focus is “quality of life,” which means implementing enhancements that will make Warzone more accessible and less frustrating for our community members.
For example, there are over 30 enhancements coming with the start of Season Two, including the following:
It has been better at all types of mobility, including vehicle handling, parachutes that can be launched from a lower vertical height, player mantle height, and collision corrections for both vehicles and people.
In addition, the gas mask animation is no longer interrupted by operators who aim downwards with their sights.
The system fills a whole plate of armour with armour before filling damaged ones while armour plates are being inserted.
This is on top of the bug and problem fixes that have already been completed. Season Two will cover a number of problems, including the ones listed below, among others:
Streaming and performance difficulties, including Buy Station, freezes, voice chat connectivity issues, and distorted images, across all platforms, including PC and mobile.
The ability for some operator skins to become invisible at specific distances.
The Modern Warfare® Multiplayer mode, which is related to Warzone’s launcher, is being hindered.
Across our studios, the Call of Duty teams is keeping an eye on both public community sentiment as well as every part of the day-to-day activity that takes place in our game. All of this aids in the identification and resolution of issues, and it is on top of what is discovered in development and addressed before it is made available to the public.
All of us who play this game together want it to be a game where the gameplay comes first and new features aren’t added at the expense of long-term reliability and quality.
Another important consideration is communication throughout the community. These debrief, our blogs, Raven Software’s Patch Notes, and the efforts of our dedicated social media and community management teams are all part of our effort to keep you, the player, up to date on what is going on in Warzone, Vanguard, and other Call of Duty franchise titles.
Taking Care of the Most Popular Community Requests
In addition, we’ve heard from the community about what they want to see in Warzone. They want better performance on all platforms.
One of these is the Field of View (FOV) sliders on the console.
The addition of a first-person view (FOV) on the console in Warzone has significant performance consequences for players using older consoles. The console version of Warzone won’t have a FOV slider at this time because we want the game to be fast and responsive on all platforms. This is why.
Additionally, we recognize that we are not able to respond immediately to every request from the community through official communications. Although these issues have been raised previously, we are confirming our commitment to listening to them and ensuring that developers engage in active and fruitful internal conversations about them before remedies are adopted, whenever possible.
As we continue to strive to improve your gaming experience, Season Two will be the next important step in that direction. We appreciate your comments and look forward to hearing from you in Season Two.
Plans for the Future
